Sabah Trip by Yii Siew Chiang

Welcome to Sabah^^

Sabah can be known as Malaysian Borneo.
It is a land renowned for its natural splendorous and fascinating ethnic heritage.

This is my first time as a 10 days 9 nights tour guide. i went to Sabah since one years ago with my friends. This trip i just spent in a low cost, cheap and affordable tour especially for students because we are students, rignt? ^^ We had went to several places in Sabah. Firstly, we went to Island.

At Sabah, there is a jetty known as Jesselton Point where it is the gateway to many islands hopping adventure, such as Pulau Manukan, Pulau Sapi and Pulau Mamutik. You can get many packages from the tour guides at there and they are more than happy to work out a plan. At that time, we just go for one island which is called Pulau Manukan. This is because that island is the nearest one .All my friend scared speed boat, so we decided just went to Pulau Manukan.

                                        Archway to the jetty!

Archway to the jetty

There are a number of tour operators here that will bring us to Pulau Manukan and it is open daily from 830am to 1700pm. If you plan to just hop in with a friend or two in one of their speed boat, it coasts RM23 per person and RM10 for tax. In the island, you have to pay RM10 for entrance but that is good for all the islands that you will visit.

                                                             Ready to GO  >.<

Welcome to Pulau Manukan!!

The five islands of the Marine Park are characterized by shallow waters, sumptuous coral gardens and all boast splendid white sandy beaches. Here is the beautiful view at the beach of Pulau Manukan....

The beach at Pulau Manukan is as spectacular as other neighboring islands. Nonetheless, the water surface is compensated by the rich and colorful marine life that you can find underneath it. Really, people come to Pulau Manukan for the diving and snorkelling. So, i gave my first time snorkelling experience to Pulau manukan... I am not a swimmer, so i felt scared when I swam into the sea. Because of that reason, we cannot join diving activity. I felt very sad and disappointed.

Second Destination in Sabah @@ ------ Desa Dairy Farm

Desa Dairy Farm is located at the foothill of Mt. Kinabalu, at the Mesilau Plateau, Kundasang ,Ranau. It is the one of the subsidiaries of Desa Group of companies which is wholly owned by the state government of Sabah, Malaysia.

It provides good education for children even adults to understand how fresh milk is being processed from raw to finish product. For all of you information, the best time to visit the farm is around 2:30pm as milking session is starting at 3pm every day. You can see all the cows are lining up waiting for milking like the photo below.

That are fresh goat milk but we didn't took photo for the fresh caw milk. The taste of fresh goat milk is not too bad...hehe^^  These fresh milks are in original and chocolate flavors available for sale at the lobby. But the chocolate flavor is always stand in top sale. Besides that, some souvenir also available buy at the lobby.

Don't expect to breathe in airy grassy fresh air when we are here, this is because the air is filled with smell of cows and cow dung only.....hahaha^^ So, you guys can look on my utterance, i look like suffer . This is because i want to try to show my enjoy emotion in that kind of circumference when my friend help me to shoot a photo, but i defeated by that air.....

Third Destination in Sabah@@------- Mountain Kinabalu...

Mount Kinabalu is a prominent mountain on the island of Borneo in Southeast Asia. The majestic view of Mountain Kinabalu makes us all stand in awe of God's creation. However , we didn't climb up the mountain, we just stand at the half of mountain, we still can felt that we are so small with that giant behind of us. It is very awesomeness^.^ There had many "dongeng" about this giant at Mount Kinabalu. Some people said that giant was made by a mother and a son. They climb up this mountain are waiting for her husband and his son until they died on the top of this mountain. It is a sad story, but i cannot make sure that  it is a truth or not..... For those who are interesting to climb up Mountain Kinabalu, you can go to this website to get detail information. http://www.borneodream.com

On the half of the Mountain Kinabalu, there are many stalls which sell the crops and product. These crops are very fresh but very expensive........

In summary, i believed that i had a nice experience and received a good memory in Sabah. I hope i can travel to another places to collect more memories and experience in my life..
That's all from me......HE~~~ HE~~~
